Check out the best corner shower organization to make your shower more functional and organized.
My husband and I moved into our forever home this past summer. This home is 18 years old, and our primary bathroom is also 18 years old! The previous owners did some small updates, but our bathtub and shower are original to the home.
I am furiously pinning inspiration for how I’m going to update this bathroom and make it look so much better. But we are probably a year out from attacking that project, so in the meantime, I had to get this shower organized.
There is one small shelf that would barely fit a bar of soap and that’s it. This shower has absolutely zero storage and it was definitely not working for us. There are so many shower organization options to choose from and I specifically needed a corner shower organizer.
The way this shower is laid out, corner shower organization made the most sense to make things easy to access and out of our way while we’re showering.
The Corner Shower Organizer I Swear By
Our shower had a Simply Human corner shower organizer when we moved in, and I hated it! I was constantly hitting my elbows on it and the metal baskets were so wide that my product bottles kept toppling over. That thing had to go! (see a pic of it below)
I started reaching corner shower organization on Amazon and picked the perfect 3-pack corner shower caddy based on the reviews. Plus, I liked the fact that it stuck to the shower wall versus a stand that connected to the floor and ceiling. It took up way less room than our previous one.
This corner shower organizer is just perfect! I lived with that Simple Human one for months before I bought this one and I wish I had bought it way sooner. It fits all of my products with room to spare. In addition to the main baskets, it has a separate soap holder and a larger holder you can use for razors or smaller bottles.
Here’s a picture of our old Simple Human shower caddy for reference. I do not recommend it!
How to Install Corner Shower Organizer
This shower organizer comes with instructions that are easy to follow. I’ve listed them out in more detail below.
1. Determine the corner you want your shower organizer to go in.
For me, that was to the right of our shower head. The previous one was behind me in the corner which always got in the way.
Hold each caddy in place against the wall to get a sense for where to place them. Make sure you have enough room between them top to bottom for your product bottles and containers.
2. Use blue tape or a sticky note to mark placement.
I think this is an important step because you don’t want your shower organizers to be crooked or placed incorrectly. I am a sucker for blue tape, so I use it any time I’m measuring something out.
3. Place the adhesive strips on your shower wall.
This shower organizer comes with adhesive strips that hold each caddy. Once you place them on the wall, smooth them out with your fingers to remove any air. Let them sit for 24 hours before attaching your caddies.
4. Hook the caddies onto the strips.
It’s really easy to secure each caddy onto the strips. Once they’re snapped into place, you’re good to load up your bathroom goodies!
This corner shower organizer comes in several colors to choose from. I chose white because our shower is white, and I wanted it to blend in.
Shower Storage
Our last shower had built in shelves with a good amount of storage. When we remodel this bathroom, I am definitely going to do something similar with even more shelves.
I supplemented our old shelves with TAILI suction soap holders and their razor holders as well. If you just need a little extra shower storage, these are great options!
If you’re looking for a good corner shower organizer, I hope this post helped you out. Happy organizing!
